As part of poetry month celebrations I'd like to invite you all to come to the poetry readings on Sunday!  I was in undergraduate poetry classes with Sharmila and I can guaratee you will all like her work.  Our own UA English faculty, Alan Ambrisco and Tom Dukes, are among the prize winners who will be reading Sunday as well!

	A reminder from UA Press:

	Sharmila Voorakkara winner of the 2003 The University of Akron Press Poetry Prize for her book Fire Wheel will be the featured reader at a poetry reading on Sunday April 24th at 2:30pm at the O'Neil House, 1290 W. Exchange St. Akron, Ohio. in Akron. This reading is part of the Akron Art Museum's New Words Poetry Program and winners of that prize will read as well.
