[URBANTH-L]SUNTA elections

The Society for Urban, National, Transnational/Global Anthropology (SUNTA) needs candidates for election as Secretary.  
 
This is a two year appointment, and is very important to the organization.  The tasks involve attendance at the annual meetings (07 is in Washington, DC and the 08 meeting is in Philadelphia), at which you would take minutes for the board and business meetings.  The Secretary also prepares a very short monthly column for Anthropology News (not during summer months).  This is a very good opportunity to become acquainted with other members with shared interests, and to have a major role in shaping the message that SUNTA presents.  You also get your name in AN every month.
