[YAPA] Puzzle for a Boring Winter's Evening

Here's another puzzle for those interested. I
had to solve this one for my niece. I solved it 2 ways. "How many chords
are there in circles with points distributed on their circumference?" In
other words, you have a circle with points on it. Each point will connect to
each of the other points. How many total lines will you have traversing the
circle? You need to give the formula.
