<DIV class=RTE>Dear Ohio Section AAPT members and friends,<BR><BR>I hope you will mark your calendar to join us on Saturday, October 13<BR>at John Carroll University for the Fall meeting or our Ohio Section<BR>(and free barbecue!).<BR>We've got a great meeting planned. Harvey Leff, the President of the<BR>National AAPT will be there to give a plenary talk about "What is<BR>Entropy?" and lead a workshop discussion about what the National AAPT<BR>can do for you. Bob Brown, from CWRU, will also give both a plenary<BR>talk and lead a workshop on teaching by revisiting in three cycles.<BR>In addition, there will be workshops on the physics of the electric<BR>guitar (led by Mary Kay Patton) and teaching science using children's<BR>literature (led by Bill Reitz).<BR><BR>Also, Vernier will be there to demonstrate the new "LabQuest" computer<BR>interface and to give one away to a lucky
attendee.
