Several of us OSAAPT members are actively looking for more opportunities to expand our student-centered teaching through informal interaction with our colleagues, and we'd love to have more people join us. We will be meeting from 1:00 pm until approximately 4:00 pm to explore ways to connect physics and music for our students. You don't need to know anything about music (I certainly don't, which is one reason I'm excited for this), but if you are a musician please feel free to bring an instrument so we can look at ways to work it into the physics we'd teach in our classrooms. Also, please feel free to bring along any music teacher friends who are interested!</div><div><br></div><div>We will meet in 129 Wilker Hall, 320 Front St in Berea. If you'd like to take home some materials that we make that day, please bring $5 for the material cost.</div><div><br></div><div>Please come! Please bring a fellow physics teacher if you can!
