The Covenant with Black America

Watch Tonight’s Presidential Forum

Don’t forget to TUNE IN tonight (Thursday, June 28) to PBS, from
9:00-10:30pm ET. Tavis Smiley will moderate the All American
Presidential Forum on the campus of Howard University in Washington,
D.C.

Along with Tavis, three journalists of color will pose questions to the
candidates regarding the Covenant with Black America and other domestic
issues. Democratic presidential candidates Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton,
Christopher Dodd, John Edwards, Mike Gravel, Dennis Kucinich, Barack
Obama, and Bill Richardson will take part in this provocative
discussion. The candidates will be asked to address issues ranging from
education, the economy and healthcare, to Katrina relief, housing, and
the environment, among others outlined in the Covenant With Black
America.

SAVE THE DATE! The Republican Presidential Forum will follow on
September 27, 2007, on the campus of Morgan State University in
Baltimore, Maryland.

Visit The Covenant for updates, and DON’T MISS THESE HISTORIC EVENTS!

Post-Forum: Who Will Get Your Vote?

After you’ve watched the forum, please return to The Covenant site and
vote for your candidate of choice. But please, don’t vote UNTIL AFTER
THE FORUM. We want to gauge whether you think your candidate performed
well during the debate. Did he/she answer the questions to your liking?
Do you share his/her opinions on issues? We’ll be collecting votes
starting Thursday night (between 10:30pm and 5:00am Friday ET). Tavis
will announce THE RESULTS OF THE POLL FRIDAY MORNING on The Tom Joyner
Show!
