On Thursday, April 24, 2008, a 14 x 18 foot mural sized reproduction of 
the Lithograph “Tidings” by the great Harlem Renaissance artist Romare 
Bearden will be installed on the Chestnut Street wall of the Sandel 
Building adjacent to the DeYor Theatre complex on downtown Youngstown’s 
Federal Street.

 

“The MURALS PROJECT: Museum Without Walls” murals are currently hanging 
on West Federal Street from monument square to Martin Luther King Blvd. 
Boarded up street level storefronts have murals of sepia toned 
enlargements of historical photographs of Youngstown.
