Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure to inform you that Friday, January 2, 2009 
will be the day officially recognize as the additional holiday as 
declared by President Bush on 12/12/08 by Executive Order 11582 and in 
compliance with Article 11.2 of the YSU-ACE CBA.

The decision was made in consultation with VP Eugene Grilli and Ms. 
Cyndy Miller as it pertained to Payroll Operations.  All who have 
direct deposit will have it in their account on January 2, 2009 
bi-weekly pay.  Bargaining Unit Members that have paper checks will be 
able to pick-up their check(s) on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 from the 
hours of 8:15 am to 4:45 pm.  Please note that checks cannot be cashed 
until January 2, 2009.

Please be aware if you had a vacation, personal or a comp. day 
scheduled to make the appropriate corrections/cancellation of that day 
with your supervisors.

Enjoy the extra day off.
