Children's Hospital - Burn Center....good news...the doctors are
releasing him today! God is answering prayer.

Overview:
Some of you may have read on Facebook that Joel was scheduled for
surgery this morning (Wednesday/10/21). He was given the anesthesia,
burns scraped and the doctor saw more healing and said he wouldn't need
the surgery. An answer to so many prayers. We (the entire Imler
family) cannot begin to thank you all for joining your faith with ours.
We have seen Joel in so much pain but he's been phenomenal in dealing
with the pain each day as they would put him in a large bath and scrape
the burns then apply the wrappings. When Joel came from out of the
anesthesia, we were told that he said 'my leg doesn't hurt' (from the
potential donor site). They kept trying to explain to him that they
didn't have to do it. Once the anesthesia wore off, he was in pain
from the scraping but understood that he was spared additional pain.
His face, neck, and back are healing nicely.

Also, Wednesday was the first time that Joel had seen the parents of
the children. Khinya had a follow up with Akron Children's Hospital
today. I saw her and she will need continued treatment. The parents
and Joel hugged and there was sweet silence! What could they say?
Their silence and embrace - priceless. Words couldn't not express the
parents' gratitude. I saw so some scriptures lived out through Joel.
When you walk through the fire, I will be with you!" The Word in
action! He is fearless and I'm in awe of what our Father has done
through him.

Please know that I am compiling all comments from emails, Facebook for
Joel to read each day. This has been such an encouragement to him.

Today: Thursday, Oct 22
We received a call from Joel and after Joel's burns were examined today
- HE CAN COME HOME! He will be released today at 3 PM.

Thanks again for your prayers and please continue to keep Joel and our
family in your prayers because there MAY be after affects from the
trauma of this fire and we want Joel to be free from it all!
