[bfsa] TIME TO MOBILIZE !!!!

Dear Members,

 

The intent of this email is to inform and motivate us to become actively
involved with current and forth coming actions of our state government. I've
been in continuous communication with our leadership at NEA in Washington
DC, OEA in Columbus and NEOEA in Cleveland and they have great concern for
the bulls eye to disassembly unionized labor in education K-12 and Higher
Education and particular concern for The Great State of Ohio. To be more
specific, Governor Kasich along with his peers intend to make our current
collective bargaining something of the past
(http://www.legislature.state.oh.us/bills.cfm?ID=129_SB_5) therefore,
placing our careers in jeopardy.

 

We (as a people) have endured a lot to be prepared for this time right where
we are and NOW is our time to PUSH towards the mark that is greater than us
all to see justice prevail! I encourage you to become (actively) involved
with our local unions, and/or regional and national unions for the sake of
our present and future. I will be disseminating additional information (or
you can contact me) as time progresses. However, it's my desire to lay the
foundation for us to unite and engage as our predecessors who's fruits we
enjoy this very day.
