CFP: World Tourism Organization Ulysses Conference 2005 (deadline today)

The WTO.Ulysses Conference 2005 aims to bring together researchers and
practitioners to discuss key issues in tourism policy and management. This
year's conference will focus on Excellence in public-private destination
management, examining and debating the issues of strategic planning and
destination management as well as the interrelated issues of safety,
security, crisis management; quality; sustainability and human resources.
The conference will be held over one and a half days on 1 and 2 June in
Madrid. Keynote speakers and expert panels will make presentations relating
to the conference theme. Additionally delegates will be invited to attend
the 2005 WTO Ulysses Prize ceremony and conference reception to be held on
the evening of 1 June.

Presentations are welcome within the broad themes of the conference and
authors are invited to submit abstracts for consideration.
Abstract submission- key dates:

Submission of abstract (maximum 200 words including key issues, methodology
and indication of findings) and author C.V. in either English or Spanish by
11 April 2005.

Authors notified of acceptance to present at the conference by 25 April
2005.
Abstracts and author C.V. should be submitted in word format to Lisa Ruhanen
at the e-mail address provided below.
All abstracts accepted for presentation will be included in a ´book of
abstracts´ which will be available at the conference. Upon notification of
acceptance, authors will be asked to provide their abstract in both English
and Spanish and a 150 word author bio. Authors whose abstracts are accepted
for presentation and wish to be considered for publication in the WTO.EKM
paper series should submit full papers by 23 May 2005.

Authors whose papers are accepted for presentation at the conference are
excluded from paying the conference registration fee.
