[URBANTH-L]Eric Wolf Prize Call for Submissions

 Calling for submissions for the 
  Eric R. Wolf Prize 

awarded by the Society for the Anthropology of Work 
to honor graduate research on the subject of the anthropology 
of work. The graduate student submitting the paper awarded 
the Eric R. Wolf Prize will receive a $250 cash prize and 
the winning paper will be published in the Anthropology 
of Work Review. 

To submit a paper for consideration by the Eric R. Wolf Prize 
committee, please attach a Word document (25 pages or less, 
double-spaced, with references and only the title on the title 
page - no identifying headers or footers) to a message (containing 
identifying and contact information) sent to Ann Kingsolver, 
General Editor of the Anthropology of Work Review and chair of the
Eric R. Wolf Prize committee, aekingso at gwm.sc.edu. 

Submissions received by December 23, 2005, will be considered 
for the 2005 Eric R. Wolf Prize. Submissions received after that 
date will be considered for the 2006 prize. Graduate students need 
not be members of the Society for the Anthropology of Work to 
have their work considered for this prize, but SAW student 
memberships are available at the reduced cost of $20.
