Call for Contributors to the Encyclopedia of American Poverty

Call for Contributors to the Encyclopedia of American Poverty, which is a
complete overview of the causes, consequences, and characteristics of
poverty over the course of American history, with a special emphasis on
contemporary poverty. The Encyclopedia, encompassed in one volume totaling
approximately 125,000 words, is divided into thematic and chronological
sections. Each section includes general essays of 2,000-3,000 words each
that provide an overview of historical development and contemporary
conditions of the personalities, politics, economics, and theories of
poverty. Entries of 500-1500 words, ordered alphabetically, describe
particular groups, people, institutions, and events. The Encyclopedia is
edited by Russell Lawson, Ph.D. and will be published by Greenwood
Publishing. Contributors receive a modest honorarium. Email Russell Lawson
for a headword list and details.
