Dear Colleagues (sorry for cross-posting)

we are looking for  brilliant candidates who have just finished their BA and
are interested in a  highly innovative, international and challenging  
learning
experience.

For this reason, we would like to draw your  attention to E-Urbs, the new
European Master in Comparative Urban Studies  that has been organised
for the academic year 2006-2007  (www.e-urbs.net).

E-Urbs is based on the long lasting experience of a  group of scholars of
nine prestigious European Universities and Research  Institutions, who
jointly designed the curricula and are involved in its  teaching activities 
(see
list below).

Main objective of E-urbs is to  create a truly “international virtual
campus”
for the  study of urban issues from a multidisciplinary and comparative
perspective  using innovative learning techniques and instruments.

E-urbs develops a  learning approach, based on the integration of virtual
and physical mobility  and the use of ICT devices, supporting new
interaction methodologies.  Face-to-face lectures are complemented by
online teaching.

IMPORTANT:  The Master lasts one year and provides 60 ECTS credits
and this years' EU  funding will allow to cover the tuition fees for this 
first
year. Detailed  info on the MA syllabus, application procedures, etc. are to
