I'm looking for information about Leavenworth, Washington and its "Bavarian
Village." In the 1960s, Leavenworth residents decided to transform their
town
into a Bavarian Village---they have festivals and daily re-enactments. The
town,
which was declining, is now a successful tourist destination. Can anyone
refer
me to articles about Leavenworth, or has anyone done research in the town?
Many
thanks.
