To SUNTA members and friends:

Just a quick note to update you on SUNTA election results.

Secretary:
   Jayne Howell, CSU - Long Beach

Treasurer:
   Anne Lewinson, Berry College
   (reelected for second term)

Councilor:
   Gautam Ghosh, U of Penn. Museum

Student Councilor:
   Molly Hurley-Depret, CUNY

Also, the by-laws change regarding managing the Leeds Prize
(as recommended by the Board) was handily approved.

New officers formally take office at the next AAA meeting in
Washington--but we're already glad to have them! Also many
thanks to all who were willing to run. The election process
is a somewhat flukey and frustrating one at times, but it is
important in keeping SUNTA leadership open.
