Are you based in a non-governmental organisation and actively working
for social change on issues relating to poverty, social exclusion and
social justice? Would you like to have research `time out´ to
reflect on your work at an intellectual level?

The UCD Egalitarian World Initiative, supported by the Combat Poverty
Agency, is offering a Civil Society Research Scholarship for the
2007/2008 academic year. It is designed to offer a scholar, time,
space and the intellectual environment to engage in research and
reflection on their work. Scholars will spend up to three months full
time in UCD working on a research project of their choice. They will
also be able to avail of activities and courses offered under the
umbrella of the Egalitarian World Initiative during their time in
UCD.

The scholarship is worth EUR10,000. Scholars are typically seconded by
their organisation or given leave to take up the scholarship and to
locate, on a full time, basis to the Egalitarian World Initiative in
UCD.

The Scholarship is jointly administered by the UCD Egalitarian World
Initiative and the Combat Poverty Agency under its Poverty Research
Initiative. For information and application form see:
