The University of Missouri-Kansas City Department of Sociology,
Criminology, and Criminal Justice invites applications for a Visiting
Assistant Professor in Cultural Anthropology. This is a one-year
position, with the possibility of a second-year renewal. The position
is open to candidates who are ABD, but preference will be given to
those who already have PhDs in Anthropology. Areal and theoretical
specialization is open, but the ideal candidate will be prepared to
teach two sections of Intro to Cultural Anthropology as well as one
general undergraduate course in Globalization, Nationalism, and, or
Gender each semester. The teaching load is 3 courses each semester
(Fall and Winter).
