Macquarie University is seeking Expressions of Interest from outstanding
researchers who wish to apply for an Australian Research Council Future
Fellowship to be based at Macquarie University in 2009. The Centre for
Research on Social Inclusion (CRSI) one of the ‘Concentrations of
Research Excellence’ (CoREs) at Macquarie University offers a rich
interdisciplinary environment with scholars engaged in philosophical,
social and cultural research on key social issues such as work reform,
globalisation, cities, migration, multiculturalism, racism and welfare (
see http://www.crsi.mq.edu.au/). 

>From 2009-2013, up to 200 new four-year Future Fellowships will be
awarded each year to mid-career researchers at two levels to reflect the
breadth of experience of candidates - Step 1 $95,000 per annum and Step
2 $135,000 per annum. Mid-career is defined as those who have between
five and 15 years experience since the award of PhD, or equivalent
research qualification of experience. Fellows will be offered continuing
positions at Macquarie University at the end of the four-year Fellowship
term, subject to performance review. If you are interested in applying
