I am teaching an undergraduate course, "Work and Migration in the
Americas." For a portion of their grade, students will work in small
groups to research immigrant worker issues in particular industries
in the U.S., with a focus on power, class, race, gender, and
organizing (themes we're focusing on in class). I'm compiling a list
of scholarship in each of the industries that I can pull from when
groups come to me for guidance. If folks on this listserv are
familiar with publications on immigrant workers in any of the
following industries, would you please send me citations off-list?

garment industry
car wash industry
farm work / agriculture
restaurant
domestic / nanny / home healthcare
day laborers
construction
janitors / cleaning crews

Thank you,
Angela C. Stuesse
