job opening for Visiting Assistant Professor in urban sociology 
(three-year appointment)

Salary Range: Negotiable.

 

The Department of Sociology and Anthropology (Rochester Institute of 
Technology) invites applications for a visiting assistant professor of 
urban sociology for a three-year appointment (beginning as soon as 
winter term 2009), with possible extension. The department offers 
undergraduate degrees in International Studies and in Urban & Community 
Studies. International or intercultural experience and research is 
desirable. The candidate is expected to teach introductory sociology and 
urban sociology courses. Ph.D. in hand is required.
