Just a reminder about our two upcoming events (please also see attached flyer
for posting and distribution):

NOVEMBER 1, 2005

On Tuesday, November 1, 2005 from 3:30pm – 5 pm, three YSU Professors - Dr.
Diane Barnes, Dr. Donna DeBlasio, and Dr. Helene Sinnreich will give a panel
presentation: "Ethnic Immigration 101".  The panel's purpose is to give students
and the community a background on Italian, Irish and Jewish immigration to the
United States.  This panel will also be held in DeBartolo Auditorium (room 132).
The program is free and open to the public.

NOVEMBER 3, 2005

On Thursday, November 1, 2005 at 7 pm in DeBartolo 132, Dr. Joshua Zeitz of
Cambridge University will give a paper entitled, “White Ethnic: New York:
Religion, Nation & Class, 1945-1970” on Jewish, Irish and Italian immigration to
New York. The program is free and open to the public.
