The Judaic and Holocaust Studies Program at YSU will be hosting a conference on the Holocaust entitled "Beyond Numbers, Beyond Names: The Experience of 
Holocaust Victims" from Sunday, April 2 - Tuesday, April 4th on the YSU campus.  The conference is free and open to the public.  For more

Events of special note:

Dr. Saul Friedman will be presented with the 2006 Janusz Korczak award at 
1pm on Sunday, April 2, 2006 in DeBartolo Hall Auditorium.  The ceremony is 
part of the YSU Judaic and Holocaust Studies Conference.  The event is free 
and open to the public. 

Henry Greenspan will be performing his one-man show "Remnants" at 3pm on 
Sunday, April 2, 2006  in DeBartlo Hall Auditorim.  Remnants is based Dr. 
Greenspan's twenty years of interviewing Holocaust Survivors.  The 
performance is free and open to the public.  

The award winning film about hidden children during the Holocaust, "Diamonds 
in the Snow" will be at 8pm on Monday, April 3, 2006  in the Chestnut Room, 
Kilcawley Center on YSU campus.  Mira Binford, a child survivor and the 
director of the film will be available to answer questions following the 
screening.  The event is free and open to the public.  

Chair of Holocaust Studies at Hebrew University, Professor Dalia Ofer will 
give her keynote address for the Beyond Numbers, Beyond Names: The 
Experience of Holocaust Victims conference at 2pm on Monday, April 3, 2006 
in the Chestnut Room, Kilcawley Center.  The event is free and open to the 
public.
