History 3745: Jewish Labor History

 

Examines Jewish labor history in Europe, the United States, and Israel.
Explore the social history of the worker, gender and national differences,
living and working conditions, as well as labor movements and worker
political mobilization.

 

Thursdays, 1 - 3:50 pm

 

 

History 3796:  Genocide and Mass Murder

 

This course will examine the origins, causes, definitions, and forms of
genocide.  Case studies will be drawn from across geographical regions and
time periods including Armenia, the Holocaust, Cambodia, the former
Yugoslavia, Rwanda and the Sudan. 

 

Thursdays, 5:10 - 7:50 pm

 

 

History 4801: Eating Jewish

 

This course will explore Jewish food traditions.
