Cantor Moshe Taube, a Holocaust survivor, was saved by Oskar Schindler.

Beyond Schindler: The Other Jews of the Krakow Ghetto (lecture)
Monday, October 6, 2008 at 12 pm in the James Gallery Room, Kilcawley Center

Dr. Helene J. Sinnreich, Director of the Center for Judaic and Holocaust
Studies at Youngstown State University will discuss her research on Krakow
Ghetto. Dr. Sinnreich was a 2007 Fellow at the United States Holocaust
Memorial Museum in Washington D.C. and will be a 2009 Fellow at Yad Vashem.
Free and open to the public.

Slaves for the Wehrmacht: Forced Labor during the Holocaust (lecture)
Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 7 pm in the James Gallery Room, Kilcawley
Center

Dr. Thomas Leary, co-Director of the Center for Applied History at
Youngstown State University will discuss his research on forced labor during
the Holocaust.  Free and open to the public.

Studying the Jewish and Islamic Traditions
Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 7 pm in the James Gallery Room in Kilcawley
Center

Join Dr. Mir, Director of the Center of Islamic Studies at Youngstown State
University and Dr. Sinnreich, Director of Judaic and Holocaust Studies at
Youngstown State University for a discussion on Jewish and Islamic
Traditions.  Free and open to the public.

Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in the Ward Beecher Planetarium

Famed Einstein scholar Don Howard of Notre Dame will be giving a lecture on
Einstein and his Jewish identity.  Free and open to the public.  Space is
