[Ysu-academic-senate] President Dunn to Address Academic Senate

Dear Colleagues,

Last week, a budget-balancing plan was announced to the University community.  It has stirred a great deal of discussion among faculty, staff, and students, particularly as it may affect the operations of the academic division.  To answer specific questions, as well as to respond to rumor and innuendo, the Senate Executive Committee extended an invitation to President Dunn to address the Academic Senate.   Dr. Dunn immediately accepted this invitation and has gladly agreed to speak to the Senate at its next regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, October 3rd at 4:00 PM in the DeBartolo Hall Auditorium.   I would strongly encourage all of you to attend this meeting and actively participate in the discussion.

A formal agenda for the meeting will be posted soon.  The minutes from the last meeting have already been posted to the Senate web page.
