We have an opportunity as concerned citizens and community members to
help shape the future of Youngstown.  Forget what has or has NOT
happened in the city and think about what CAN happen.  But it WON'T
happen without your involvement.

There are a number of working groups that need your participation.  The
new economy, the downtown economy, new image, and new neighborhoods.
Meetings are once a month (if that often).

Everyone who lives in Youngstown should be attending the neighborhhod
planning meetings.  Your voice needs to be heard regarding the future of
your specific neighborhood.  A series of neighborhood planning meetings
have been scheduled from April through August.  The next neighborhood
meeting is for the northside and Brier Hill, April 20, 7-9, The Rayen
School.  Please come and ask questions, provide input, and show your
concern and interest in your community.

A Town Hall meeting on Y2010 is scheduled for  May 5, 2004, Chestnut
Room, Kilcawley Center, 7:30-9 PM.  The meeting will be simulcast on
WYSU and PBS 45/49 from 8-9 PM.  Please come and find out what's being
planned  and provide your input for the future of Youngstown.

You can either shape your future or be a victim of it.
