Mayor Williams has issued a proclamation that designated this week "Paul 
Laurence Dunbar Week". The document is proudly on display in the main 
lobby of Maag Library.  It will be turned over to the Office of Equal 
Opportunity and Diversity at the end of Black History Month celebration.

Wednesday, Feb 22  Black Film Festival:  "Rosewood"  Jones Room /KILC 
6pm - 9 pm
                  Feb. 22,  @ 6:00 pm Paul Laurence Dunbar, " His 
Legacy, 100 years later, presentation in the first person
                          100 Year Old Reading Circle @ Second Baptist 
Church , 537 Bell Ave., New Castle PA

    Thurs., Feb 23, @ 3:00 pm in McKay Auditorium Beeghley College of 
Education - LaVerne Sci, Historical site manager of the  Dunbar State 
Memorial, Dayton
     
Thurs., Feb 23 @ 6:30 pm Book discussion " Sport of the Gods" in the 
Reading Room (basement) of  Main Branch of Public Library  305 Wick Ave.

Friday, Feb 24 Youngstown Native, Karen Clark-Green,  "For the Love of 
Life" @ 7 pm Chestnut Room/ KILC

Saturday: Feb 25 Gospel Brunch from 10:30 - 1:30 @ Choffin

Tuesday, Feb 28 Black Film Festival: " Guess Who Coming to Dinner?" 
Breshnahan I & II KILC 6 pm - 9 pm

  It isn't too late for you to attend one of the programs that are 
planned for the rest of this week.  Won't you please plan to attend at 
least one of the up coming programs that.
