The Society for Applied Anthropology has graciously invited SUNTA
members to offer panels at the meeting in Sant Fe April 6-10. From the
preliminary results of the survey, those members who are willing to meet
in Spring (roughly half) prefer meeting in Santa Fe instead of Merida in
a ratio of 6 to 4. SfAA's deadline for submission of panels is November
7 and there are no exceptions. This is an invitation for any member of
SUNTA or any panel organizer who originally intended to present during
the AAA meetings in SF and cannot do so in Atlanta to present at SfAA
instead. There is no time for review by SUNTA. SfAA prefers to have the
submissions via the SfAA web site (rather than as a package).
The SfAA web site (http://www.sfaa.net/) allows an individual to
complete and forward the session abstract (including the identification
of up to 8 papers/authors).
Individual paper abstracts can then be submitted independently via the
web page. There is a space in the paper abstract form for the author to

identify the session and session organizer (and thus, link up).
When you sumbit an abstract, you must also register for the conference.
These registration fees can be returned up to December 31, 2004 if you
change your mind.
Please let me know if you decide to move your panel to Santa Fe.
