The AAA has posted a form for requesting refunds of 
registration fees at <http://www.aaanet.org/mtgs/2004/meeting-
relief-app.pdf>.

According to the AAA site <http://www.aaanet.org>:

"On November 4, 2004, the AAA Executive Board approved a 
motion to grant registration fee relief to 2004 Annual 
Meeting registrants who registered when the Meeting was 
scheduled to occur in San Francisco, and because of the 
change in dates and venue, are now unable to attend the 
Annual Meeting scheduled for Atlanta."
