Three one-year fellowship grants of $12,000 each will be awarded to doctoral
students/candidates at the dissertation proposal-writing stage, or who are in
the first year after the dissertation proposal is approved.  

The School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Colorado,
Boulder welcomes applications for the 2005-06 academic year for a dissertation
fellowship program in media, religion, and culture. Deadline is April 5, 2005.
This program is supported by a grant from the Lilly Endowment, Inc. For further
