Dear Colleague,

We are pleased to announce the Summer Seminar on "Livable Cities in Pacific
Asia: Research Methods for Policy Analysis to be held in Honolulu, Hawaii,
from 30 May to 29 June 2006.  Urban planners, urban scholars and qualified
private and non-government researchers and practitioners interested in
augmenting their skills in planning for livable cities are invited to apply.
The 2006 training program is the third in a series sponsored by the
Globalization Research Center and the East-West Center.  Through a generous
grant from the Ford Foundations a select number of candidates from Vietnam
will have all costs covered.
