[URBANTH-L]Poverty Work Group Meeting at AAA

The second annual meeting of the newly formed Anthropology Work Group on Poverty and Homelessness will meet on Thursday, November 29 in connection with the American Anthropological Association meetings in Washington, DC.  
 
The meeting will be at 6:15 in Wilson B of the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, 2660 Woodley Rd., NW.
 
This is a loosely organized group of anthropologists who do research and/or social activism related to poverty and homelessness, and all things related.  The group is sponsored by the Society for Urban, National, Transnational /Global Anthropology (SUNTA), and is the recent ressurecttion of a group that existed through the 80s and 90s.  Susan Greenbaum (South Florida) and Karen Curtis ( U Delaware) are the organizers.
