After a long battle with cancer, a truly wonderful anthropologist and 
mentor, Daphne Berdahl, passed away last Friday.

Daphne's family has established a memorial fund to honor her memory, and 
hopes to endow a graduate fellowship in her name. Gifts can be given to the 
"Daphne J. Berdahl Fund" at the University of Minnesota Foundation.
