[URBANTH-L]Asia anthropology in Taipei

To SUNTA members and friends:

The Society for East Asian Anthropology
is holding its biennial meetings in Taipei
on July 2 - 5, 2009. This would be an
excellent opportunity to better integrate
the work of SUNTA and anthropologists of
an East Asia that is a model of  alterna-
tive kinds of cities and modes of trans-
nationalism. Note that this conference
specifically includes Southeast Asia as
well as East Asia.

If there are SUNTA members who are
interested in participating, please send
me a quick note to that effect. If there is
interest, I will try to help put together
a panel (or two) for that meeting.
