Hello colleagues,
I am writing a chapter about the gentrification and neoliberalism in Jackson Heights, Woodside and Elmhurst areas in Queens, NYC particularly as it affects immigrants and queers/LGBT of color (Asian American, Latina/o and African American).
I was wondering if people could suggest recent studies or articles around these geographic areas and communities that may point to the emergence of coalitional or cross-issue activism in the city. Also, are there parallel studies or cases in other cities not only in America but also in Canada, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa?
Thank you.
