Post-doctoral Fellow in HKBU-UIC Joint Institute for Research Studies and 
the
Advanced Institute for Contemporary China Studies (ACCS)

The Advanced Institute for Contemporary China Studies (ACCS), Hong Kong 
Baptist
University, welcomes applications from outstanding and self-motivated
candidates possessing a PhD degree for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow
under the above scheme in disciplines like: Business and Management, 
Humanities
and Social Sciences and Science and Technology. Further details on the post

The appointees are expected to reside in Zhuhai, China. Zhuhai is situated 
in
the southwest of Pearl River Delta of Guangdong Province. It borders 
Jiangmen
to the northwest, Zhongshan to the north, and Macau to the south. It is also
conveniently connected with Hong Kong.

The appointees will carry out research work under the supervision of a 
Fellow of
ACCS, as well as to undertake teaching duties and tutorials for 
undergraduates,
etc. The appointment is usually for a period of one to two years. Additional
subsidy will be provided to the Post-doctoral Fellows and their Professors 
at
HKBU such that they can travel between Zhuhai and Hong Kong, as well as to
attend conferences in Hong Kong and carry out research-related field 
studies.
With increasing influence of East Asia and China, this fellowship scheme is 
a
great prospect for early career PhDs who are interested in and engaged in
research topics related to the region to acquire research and teaching
opportunities and more practical experience in China.
