Just a brief note before the semester begins to let you know about the 
various courses being offered in Judaic and Holocaust Studies.

 Courses offered:

Hebrew 1500 – Elementary Hebrew - Tuesday/Thursday from 11 am – 12:50 pm

Chaya Kessler will once again be offering Hebrew 1500 – Elementary 
Hebrew from 11 am – 12:50 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  This four 
credit course can be taken towards fulfilling your language requirement 
at YSU.  There is also a more advanced course being offered by 
arrangement with Mrs. Kessler.  For more information, please contact

Religion 3731 – Hebrew Scriptures - Tuesday/Thursday from 12:30 pm – 
1:45 pm

Rabbi Schonberger will be offering Hebrew Scriptures through the 
Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies from 12:30 pm – 1:45 pm

History 3788 – The Holocaust - Tuesday/Thursday from 11 am – 12:15 pm

Dr. Sinnreich will be teaching The Holocaust this semester on Tuesdays 
and Thursdays from 11 am – 12:15 pm.  Unfortunately, the class is 
already filled.  However, if you have a strong interest, please come on 
the first day of class and we will see if you can be accommodated.
