[YSU-Academic-Senate] Important: Modification and Support Documents for Senate Meeting on 10/2/24

Good Morning Everyone!

The Senate Executive Meeting met yesterday to review the agenda for the upcoming senate meeting next week on 10/2/24.  There has been one addition to the agenda -  A 7-week schedule proposal for Fall and Spring. A vote will be taken on the policy during the next senate session.  A copy of the proposal has been attached for your review prior to the meeting next week.  Please review this policy ahead of the meeting.

Dr Mike Costarell has brought forth a challenge to the Gen Ed vote that was taken during the last senate meeting. For those unfamiliar with senate action protocol, you may refer to Article V of the Charter:

I have attached the previous gen ed report, presentation,a petition response, and copy of the senate action petition for your review prior to next week's session.  Please review the materials prior to the start of the senate session.

Lastly,  The CCP update, SGA update, and United Way update are all informational pieces and will not require a vote in the upcoming session.

The revised agenda has also been attached.

Please be sure to vote for the senate chair.  If you are a senator and are having problems accessing the form, please contact Dr Bob Kramer.
