[YSU-Academic-Senate] Update: YSU Academic Senate Meeting on 1/8/25

Good afternoon everyone,

The academic senate held a meeting on 1/8/25.  Attached to this email are a few items of interest:

My brief notes on what occurred

A brief transcript of the events

A powerpoint presentation that was used for item 7a of the agenda (informational)

A couple of updates as we begin Spring Semester:

I've been able to link up with a member of the YSU web team to begin updating our academic senate website through the web team rep.  Some aspects of the website are already updated, but I will continue to work through the month to get the webpage up to speed as quickly as possible.
  *
The executive committee is working to improve the sound quality of recordings.  Yesterday we had members come forward on the floor and use microphones.  It is our hope this will improve the audio quality of the recordings.  Further action may be taken when the executive committee meets later this month.  Thank you for your patience in allowing us to find ways to improve the quality of the recordings.
